Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arzu Dinç Yavaş is a dedicated specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, currently serving at Istanbul Aydın University’s Faculty of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa, went on to complete her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Osmangazi University, and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering at İstinye University - a program designed to equip researchers with advanced interdisciplinary knowledge and practice in regenerative medicine, biotechnology, and tissue engineering. Her professional affiliations include membership in esteemed organizations such as the European Federation of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (EFRR), the World Federation for Neurorehabilitation (WFNR), the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM), and the Turkish Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Yavaş has also contributed to scholarly work in regenerative medicine with publications focusing on stem cells and exosome applications, enriching the field with her research and clinical insights. Dr. Slimani has published over 30 scholarly articles and book chapters, with research contributions spanning compound facial expression recognition, 6G energy-efficient networks, and intelligent systems for environmental and smart city applications. She is also a co-author of books on IT governance and AI applications. With a growing citation record and international collaborations, she continues to be an active force in advancing AI-driven research in education, healthcare, and emerging technologies.
