Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naveed Babur

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naveed Babur, an active entrepreneur in Allied Health Sciences & Rehabilitation Sciences, who boasts the first-ever PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences in Pakistan, is the Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences – the largest faculty at Superior University with more than 7000 students and more than 35 programs, as well as the Faculty of Sciences. Trained in neuro-rehabilitation and certified in academic medical writing from Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, South Korea, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naveed Babur has fostered an interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary clinical and research culture and has developed a state-of-the-art Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center (CRC) at CMARTH.

Additionally, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Superior Journal of Biological & Allied Health Sciences and the Superior Journal of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation. He previously held the position of Dean at the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences and Director of Research at Isra University in Hyderabad, Karachi, and Islamabad, Pakistan. He is an HEC-approved PhD supervisor and also serves as the Secretary General of the Pakistan Society for Neuro Rehabilitation (PSNR), Pakistan, a member organization of WFNR.

Furthermore, he is a Founder and Member of the Board of Directors of the Pakistan Physical Therapy Association (PPTA), a WCPT member organization, and a Member of the National Curriculum & Revision Committee for Physical Therapy at the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. With more than 80 research publications and one book to his credit, he is also an active reviewer for NRPU – HEC and a full member of the World Association for Medical Editors (USA). He currently serves as the Chairman of the International Rehabilitation & Allied Health Sciences Conference (RASCON-22) and has previously chaired the International Rehabilitation Sciences Congress, National Rehabilitation Conference (NRC), and Neuro Rehabilitation Conference in Pakistan since 2012.
