Having practiced law from 1993 to 2001, he ventured into the political realm, securing a seat in the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2002 to 2007. His foray into public service extended further as he assumed the role of Managing Director at Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal from 2008 to 2013, demonstrating a commitment to nationwide welfare initiatives. Notably, he emerged as the lifetime Convener of the Former Parliamentarians Forum, recognized for his extensive experience in administration and non-party-based welfare activities.
